Mobile App with Endless Runner Game, Educational Quiz, and Augmented Reality Portal

TATRAS TOWER is a 53-meter tall, sophisticatedly constructed building, making it one of the tallest in Europe and the highest situated, with an entrance at 1,367 meters above sea level. The tower has an inclined hyperboloid shape, with a wooden walkway ending in a viewing platform with a net. The platform's furthest tip is glassed.

The client needed to create a web portal with information about this attraction and also wanted a custom solution that would be connected to the attraction and educate visitors about Slovak fauna and flora, nature, and so on.

We sat down with the client at the beginning and, according to his requirements and ideas, designed a complete set of custom tech solutions that fulfill the purpose and his vision of informing and educating people. 

First, we developed a clear web portal with basic information about the attraction, a gallery, ticket information, and a quiz visitors can participate in.

We developed a mobile application (iOS and Android) based on Unity, where users can play a game, participate in a quiz, view 360-degree panoramic shots of the Tatra peaks, and explore the tower through augmented reality.

As one of the features of the mobile application, we created a portal - the so-called "Narnia" - which allows you to "transport" yourself to the tower's environment from the comfort of your home. You enter augmented reality through the portal on your phone, finding yourself at the base of the tower in a snowy setting where you can explore it.

We developed a game where the user flies like an eagle, controlling its flight with their finger on a mobile device. The user must avoid obstacles, collect coins, and earn points. The eagle flies around the tower environment, allowing the user to explore and become familiar with the surroundings.

For the quiz and game in the mobile application, we had to model 3D representations of several animals, such as an eagle, snake, and brine shrimp. We created these models with the highest accuracy and authenticity possible.

The client initially shared their ideas with us, which we refined into a tangible digital product. After approval, we proceeded with design and development. We then tested the entire solution, including field testing. We regularly discussed everything with the client throughout the process.

Thanks to the innovative mobile application, we digitized the entire environment, giving the tower both educational and entertaining aspects, and enhancing the purpose of the attraction. Visitors come to enjoy the views and also to have fun, play games, and learn new knowledge.
